End of the School Year Gift & Free Printable

Hey all! I am back to share a super cute end of the school year gift for my daughter's teacher. She has had an amazing year in kindergarten, and I wanted to truly give her teacher something she would love.

Lately, I have been high tailing it past the Dollar Spot at Target in order to avoid buying $20 worth of fun goodies I never knew I actually needed. The trip the other day got me thinking about her teacher, and I saw this adorable bag and towel for $8 all together. I grabbed a cup in the summer entertaining section by the patio furniture, and then I purchased the towel clips from Five Below.  I also picked up a gift card to Target and a Good Housekeeping magazine that looked like it was filled with summer ideas.

I created a tag on my Silhouette Cameo machine, and then made it so four tags will go along for a gift to anyone at the end of the school year. Click on the link and print off as many as you would like.

The bag, clips, magazine, cup and towel was around $25 total.  A relatively inexpensive gift, and you could always grab a cup or other goodies from the Dollar Tree to make it even more cost friendly. Thanks for stopping by today!

All-Star Teacher Appreciation Week - Recap

Everyone knows that I love to throw parties for birthdays, but being a former teacher I loved teacher appreciation week. I was asked to be a part of a committee to help organize the week at Wynn's elementary school.  I though of a baseball theme week right away.  We requested donations for food and raffle prizes from the school community and they came through big time.

Raffle prizes included gift cards donated by parents, PTA and other organizations. We were able to get four free tickets to any game at a minor league baseball team ballpark, Hershey Park provided free tickets, and I added in a yoga gift card to a local yoga studio owned by a fellow teacher. It was a lot of fun surprising the winners each morning.

The first day included a Spring Training Breakfast of Champions. We provided breakfast to the staff in their faculty lounge and made it sure it covered all the bases.  We had healthy alternatives, breakfast treats and lots of options for drinks.

The second day we handed out the gifts the PTA purchased for the entire staff. We decided that Dunkin Donut gift cards would be great for everyone. I printed off the "Thanks for covering all the bases" tag from  and we added them to Cracker Jacks from the Dollar Tree. Thanks to my friends for letting me know that they sell the boxes three for a $1 there.   The principal also provided treats by having the Kona Ice - Snow Ball truck come to the school for the staff. How fun!
The third day for the teachers we provided a vendor cart of snacks in the faculty room for the teachers to grab a on the go snack during the day.

The fourth day we hosted the Grand Slam luncheon. This was a catered lunch by Panera bread.  The teachers had enjoyed this in previous years, and it was a huge hit again.

The final day was the Seventh Inning Stretch, which included a visit from a massage therapist for seated chair massages for the teachers throughout the day.  Thanks for stopping by. At the end of the week I was certainly tired, but I know that it was all appreciated by the teachers each day.
